Heart Centred Counselling and support.

Overview

As women living in a world where so much value is placed on how busy we are, how we look, success & material possession, it is important we remember our innate value, worthiness and wholeness. It can be easy to lose sight of this when we are focused on tending to our families, friends, co-workers and community. When was the last time you prioritised yourself?

As women, we have so much to give. We are inherently the nurturers and healers, community connectors and safe havens for our families and community but too often we give all to those around us without prioritising our own needs, boundaries, dreams, and happiness.

Do you believe you are:

Worthy of having your needs met.
Worthy of being seen, heard, honoured, and understood.
Worthy of loving, compassionate, safe, soul-enriching connections.
Worthy of freedom to be your own person apart from societies expectations & family obligations, free to thrive and live with peace and ease.

What if your inner voice spoke with kindness and compassion instead of anxiety and criticitsm?

Imagine stepping into who you were born to be, accepting and embracing your value, your power, your wholeness, compassion, and wellbeing?

When women and mothers feel supported, nurtured and fulfilled, everyone benefits.

Do you feel connected to yourself in a compassionate and nurturing sense and are you able to identify your strengths and value?

Do you feel an innate sense of purpose and peace in your day to day life? This doesn't mean you won't feel tired and have times of roller coaster tummy wobbles but despite the wind in your hair and the twists and turns life brings you are hopeful about life and where you are right now.

iRest® Yoga Nidra is a beautiful and gentle but powerfully restorative heart centred practice that can help you.

It is an evidence-based transformative practice that leads to psychological, physical, and spiritual healing and well-being.
Its practice is integrative as it heals the various unresolved issues and traumas that are present in your body and mind, and restorative as it enables you to recognize your innate peace of mind that is always present amidst all changing circumstances of life.

The practice provides you with tools to help you relax deeply, release stress, increase resiliency, improve your interpersonal relationships and provide you with greater mastery and control in your life.

People who practice iRest Yoga Nidra report:
 • Reduced depression, fear and anxiety   • Greater ability to relax and enjoy life
 • Reduced insomnia and levels of stress   • Improved interpersonal relations

Finding the time and space to commit to your own well-being.

You might be saying to yourself “I am not ready," or "I don't have enough time." While this is understandable the truth is that there is never a time when we are "completely ready," & there is never a really "right time."
As with any descent to the unconscious, there comes a time when one simply hopes for the best, pinches one's nose, and jumps into the abyss. If this were not so, we would not have needed to create the words heroine, hero, or courage.”
